HOSPITALITY

The Norwalk Emergency Shelter volunteers at the Manna House of Hospitality serve three meals a day, seven days a week. Currently serving over 12,000 meals per month, a great number of underemployed workers in our area having difficulty living on their minimal earnings are advantaged by the soup kitchen. The food they receive permits them to apportion funds to other necessities such as rent, utilities, transportation and family needs.

A Food Pantry, also manned by volunteers, stocks grocery and produce necessities and is available to all community members in need.

  • Fully equipped soup kitchen
  • Serving 12,000+ meals per month
  • Volunteer manned
  • Food Pantry serving the community
Nothing goes to waste! Folks eat the meal and then we distribute take-out meals as well. Many parents bring their kids leftovers for lunch after school. Some bring the take-out home to working people who can't come to eat.

-Emily Henriques, Tuesday Crew Facilitator
