There are many ways for volunteers to donate their time at
the shelter. For example, Handyman services are always welcomed
to help with repairs (both minor and major), painting and basic
cleaning. Food and Donation Pantry volunteers are also needed to
assist in stocking donation shelves and rotating food as well as,
volunteers with vans or trucks to help with food pick-ups. Volunteering
to help out in the office or baby-sit for moms at meeting is always
greatly appreciated by the staff and clients at the shelter.

The Norwalk Emergency Shelter
and the Manna House of Hospitality are open three hundred sixty
five days a year. The shelter sleeps ninety-five people and offers
case management services to all that stay at the shelter as well
as anyone else in the community in need. The Manna House serves
three meals a day, every day of the year. This translates to over
12,000 meals served monthly.
